What is Microsoft Loop?

Microsoft Loop is a new collaborative app that allows users to create, share and edit documents in real time. Loop is designed to integrate seamlessly with other Microsoft products, such as Teams, Outlook and OneDrive, and to enable fluid communication and collaboration across different platforms and devices.

Loop consists of three main components: Loop Pages, Loop Components and Loop Workspaces. Loop Pages are dynamic documents that can contain text, images, videos, tables, charts and more. Loop Components are reusable building blocks that can be inserted into Loop Pages or other apps, such as Teams or Outlook. Loop Components include lists, notes, tasks, polls, calendars and more. Loop Workspaces are shared spaces where users can invite others to collaborate on Loop Pages and Components, as well as chat and comment on their work.

Loop is designed to empower users to work more efficiently and creatively, by providing them with a flexible and intuitive tool that adapts to their needs and preferences. Loop also leverages the power of artificial intelligence and cloud computing to provide users with smart suggestions, insights and automation. For example, Loop can automatically generate summaries, captions, translations and charts based on the content of the documents.

Loop is currently available as a preview for select Microsoft 365 customers, and will be rolled out to more users in the coming months. To learn more about Loop and how to get started, visit the official website at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/loop.
